The Steadii 10 Question Tailgate

The Steadii Tailgate is our series of short interviews with inspired and creative people - from the back of our little truck. Our tailgate series is on a break for the next few months… our tailgate is not wide enough to accommodate a six-foot distancing - but you can watch our previous tailgates here! We are reconfiguring our interview approach for 2021 with COVID precautions in mind. Reach out if you have an idea for a tailgate interview.

We take our love of storytelling on the road. From the back of our little truck we sit down with creative and inspired folks and talk with them about what they're working on. Join us! And learn more about what we do at www.steadiicreative.com

Some of our favourite shots from our work with some of our favourite and fabulous people and places.

Lenka Cutler is a painter and print maker who inspires us with the way she sees and imagines the wild world. She was getting ready for a show in September and we sat down with her for a tailgate interview.

We’re often out on the water and we have a healthy respect for how mighty the sea can be. That’s why we’re stoked about a new safety device called the SeeArch. Our summer 2019 student intern, Sam Gold, had the opportunity to do some product testing and a promo shoot in the Atlantic Ocean. Talk about a learning experience!

Julian Redmond joined us from Algonquin College for a Spring 2020 Internship. While with us, Julian has worked on logo design, trade show exhibits and graphic design. Check out his independent work at www.julianredmond.ca

It’s all in the details… Up close and personal with cranberries or smoked mackerel, garlic or roasted tomatoes… Our works takes us all over and whether we’re shooting seashore-to-table on the East Coast or in the forest of the Gatineau Hills life couldn’t be yummier.

Oh hay! We’ll go that extra mile to get the creative content that will move you.

Stories are like seeds that can grow into the most wonderful things. Working on a project to document a school garden project was pretty fun… and nurturing too.
